| Catherine Cabot (Surf/Torrey Pines HS) was named to the All-Big East Rookie Team for her work at Georgetown. As a freshman defender, Cabot played in and started all 20 games. She racked up three goals and three assists.
"Catherine is a tremendous competitor and athlete," said Hoyas coach Dave Nolan. "She can play anywhere along the back line and also as a defensive center midfielder. As a threat on set pieces I also expect her to add to our offense. Catherine is the type of player who can make an immediate impact and I am expecting her to have a great four year career here at Georgetown."
