Surf Academy Training Program

The Surf Soccer ACADEMY Training has successfully prepared our players.  Surf Academy training is an extra night of age appropriate skills
training with Surf Coaches.  In addition to Academy training during the regular season, Surf provides off-season Academy training for our
younger players once per week for players who wish to participate.

Academy curriculum designed by Colin Chesters, Director of Coaching, is based on curriculums used by English Premier League and European Teams to train young prospects.  The Clubs we have taken our ideas from have produced household names and players who have represented there Countries at the highest levels of International play, including Ajax FC, Everton FC and Manchester United.

Surf Soccer Club's coaching staff firmly believe that a solid grounding of fundamental skills are essential in the younger age groups if players are to have the necessary tools to succeed later in their careers.  Age specific training is a must to maximize each player's potential.

Surf's Academy curriculum is strictly followed at each session with primary emphasis on touching the ball and self improvement.  The belief
is that 18 players with better individual skills will only lead to a whole team being able to play at a higher level.  The success of the Surf programs
is now being realized in the increasing number of players who are graduating from Surf and play college soccer.
